Struggling in Network Marketing can be a very painful experience for all.
Not only does a potentially successful person go through a difficult period of “failure,” their families will also struggle with the fact that they are spending many hours and many dollars trying to become successful.
This painful experience causes many to go searching the net for a solution and in this article I will show you how to use this “pain” that people feel to fuel your article marketing success.
My first years in Network Marketing…
When I first became a distributor for a Network Marketing company back in 2002, my motivation might have been to become successful and earn money, but looking deeper into my human desire, and remembering my situation at the time, I remember that there was a little more to the story.
At the time I was first introduced to Network Marketing, my situation was pretty bleak. I was laboring on the graveyard shift as a blue collar worker in the local aluminum extrusion plant and I desperately wanted a chance to get out.
The overall morale of the place just brought me down to levels of actually being depressed about going to work. And one thing that killed my own morale was seeing the ”career” guys that just seemed to work there forever couldn’t even afford to retire!
So it wasn’t all about money and greed that sparked my interest in residual income, but more the fear of being stuck in that same old dirty place for the rest of my working years.
And it was that very pain that my sponsor struck when he invited me to check out his “business opportunity.”
His one question made the difference that day that got me to his office to watch a presentation. And I remember it to this day… “Brian, if you don’t do this, what will you do… Stay in that factory that you hate for the rest of your life?”
Long story short, I went to the meeting. And the meeting presentation hit hard on all the pain that people go through while struggling for money and free time to spend with their families. The meeting was very powerful and produced many, many sign ups for my sponsor’s business.
But not only did he use my “pain” to recruit me into his business, he also used it to motivate me to become successful in the business. His play on my pain was what helped me to win contests at the office for most guests to the office several times.
So how can you strike that pain nerve to achieve higher article marketing success?
“Human beings will exert 10 times more energy to avoid pain than they will to gain pleasure.”
That being said, are you using pain to create desire when you write your articles or shoot your videos? And are you incorporating that pain into your headlines to grab your reader’s pain by the nerve center to get them to click and read your article or watch your video?
There are many people out there who are in “pain” right now, and seeing your painful headline may trigger a response to click faster than a promise of riches and pleasure.
Strike that nerve and you are guaranteed article marketing success with higher click-through results than ever before because human nature makes us search for remedies for the things that “hurt.”
And being stuck in a 9-5 or graveyard shift for the rest of your life, or struggling in a network marketing opportunity can truly be “painful!”
So your goal with the article or video should be to offer the remedy for that pain. Here is a great template for a “pain remedy” article or video.
Headline: Strikes pain nerve and promises to solve it.
Intro: Introduce the pain.
Body: 2-3 Paragraphs that offer a solution that will remedy the pain or solve the problem.
Next Paragraph: Explain why your solutions will solve the problem.
Last paragraph: Reinforce why your solution will solve the problem and why they should do it.
If you adopt this “pain/remedy” format for some of your future article marketing campaigns you will find that you will attract a completely new type of prospect than you would for pitches that promise the moon. And these prospects will mean business because they are self-motivated to work hard to solve their pain issue – what ever it may be.
